Since Neil Harris' arrival we have seen us gain 6 points out of a possible 9 since his arrival, along with owning 40% of our win ratio for the season in that extremly short time as manager - truly valuable six points towards our efforts to remain in L1. On Saturday it might be lowly Morecambe away, but this game is massive, they are four points and one place above us, we have the opportunity to close that points gap. I can't even think of predicting a draw, the most likely outcome, it has to be three points for me, win this and we seriously are in business for the great escape. Morecambe 1-2 Gills (Oliver x 2)
One of the greatest films ever. Steve McQueen and The Great Escape. Is Neil Harris the NEW Steve McQueen. Will we escape? Is it possible? Today is another million point game, a relative new fixture as these two sides have only met 9 times in league conflict. We have however been the better side winning 5 , there have been 3 draws and ONLY 1 DEFEAT Brilliant to see Oliver back on the scoresheet, and some of the newbies gelling and playing some confident football. And wishing Danny Llyod a speedy recovery I am going with my heart and our past track record and hopefully our first away win this season Them 0 v 2 MKB Oliver and McKenzie
Morecambe 1 (Stockton .....who else) Gills 2 (Oliver Lee) I'd posted this a couple of days ago but it had disappeared.......
Morcombe 1 Gills 2 (Oliver, Ehmer) Could this be our second double of season after we did it against Cambridge.
