Morecambe v Charlton in the league! There's a lesson here Mr Murray - don't employ Iain Dowie as you gaffer for f**ks sake
George Graham was interested in taking over. This came from Judas' trap at a Bromley SC meeting 3 weeks after Sir Alan left. I was there and heard it first hand
Looking forward to it. Another new ground to tick off and only the proper Charlton would go to Morecambe on a cold Tuesday November evening.
Been looking at some footage of Morecambe's star striker Cole Stockton. He looks a handful and has a good eye for goal. 12 goals for a team that is struggling is impressive. Looks very physical and I’d imagine that Jason Pearce would be an ideal match for him, but not sure if skipper will be playing. Maybe Famewo could look after him ? In any case it might be wise ( sorry black and white one) for us to look at him in January. We could do with another striker.

2 - 2 FT Disappointing. Two points dropped. I know JJ is not an experienced manager, and I guess that showed tonight. We should not be squandering a two goal lead.
Fatigue played its part tonight, Morecambe defended brilliantly and took their chances. We lacked the quality to play through them or shoot from range. Morecambe packed the box so our crosses were delivered into traffic. We got into some great positions but took too many touches in their penalty area. Morecambe were better in the air. No Stockley, Inniss, Pearce and Lavelle made sure of that. Gunter, wrestling with Stockton and giving away the penalty, was stupid. It got Morecambe back into it and always gave them a chance from set pieces.
