I don't want to appear less racist. The opinion that they are not skilled comes from a position of unconscious bias. I've been on a course and everything.

Possibly due to a few pints of snakebite & black (choice drink of the alt/goth/punk brigade at the time) but I think you most certainly would have seen the two bands on the same bill back in the day.
