An ex-burd of mine used to work in a motorcycle & scooter shop and when I suggested that the only youths of ethnicity that purchased scooters were drug runners she got all high and mighty and said that was racist. I admired her social indignation but asked a few pertinent questions such as did they always pay cash? Did they always attend accompanied by other dark youths? Did they ever bring their own helmet and if not did they only ever buy the cheapest lid in the shop? Did they buy any associated clothing or equipment (gloves, water-proofs, locks, maintenance materials etc)? To which she had to admit that Duwayne always paid with a wad of cash and was surrounded by his bredren dem, never had a lid and wouldn't entertain a decent make like Arai or Shoei and would ride off in the tracksuit he turned up in without any thought for himself or the scooter.

I asked if, as she thought, Duwayne had been saving up his paper round money and his Saturday job at Boots money why there wasn't a parent or guardian present and how did she think he got his hands on 2 large in folding if it wasn't gang and drug related. She then admitted that the shop had to run a locking alarm system on the display bikes because gangs of "kids" had stolen scooters from outside and when quizzed she did recall that these "kids" were of ethnicity.

Not being one for sweeping statements I did concur that quite literally some dark youths bought scooters legitimately but she was kidding herself if she thought that the majority of these were being bought with honestly earned cash or were going to be used to get Duwayne backwards and forwards to his 9 to 5 job.

A man who reportedly chanted ‘Allah is a paedo’ at far-right rallies has been revealed to be a convicted child sex offender, according to reports. Kristopher Allan, 32, is an active member of the Scottish Defence League and was one of around 40 protesters at a rally on Edinburgh’s Princes Street last December, reports the Daily Record. The paper says that he and other demonstrators chanted ‘f*** off refugees’ and ‘Allah is a paedo’.

The Record reports that Allan has a conviction for sending indecent messages and photos and having sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl at his home a decade ago. Allan was reportedly given a two-year probation order after admitting to the offence and had his name added to the sex offenders’ register for two years.
