There's a humbling interview with Fabrice Muamba in today's Telegraph. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...he-is-to-the-people-who-brought-him-back.html âBut hey,â he says, grinning widely once more, âthereâs more to life than football, right?â
Much more to life than football. I barely watch now and just see the scores on a Saturday afternoon as I loathe footballers and everything the sport represents these days. Shame really.
A rousing and emotional applause during half time at WHL last night. Great to see the better side of human nature sometimes. Seems a great bloke, good luck to him in whatever he does.
Great article. Read his book in a day, loved it! But I think they (Muamba and the guy helping to write it) made a mistake in trying to get it finished in 6 weeks. I felt that more detail could have been put into certain parts when talking about life in the Congo and as a youth player at Arsenal.
