I think Duff &Phelps will be in charge of Rangers longer than Paul Le Gwun was !!! Great to see fairness coming into Scottish football

I said on another thread that I found it interesting that D&P saw fit to comment on the actions that the SPL have proposed, how would they like it if the SPL told them how to do their jobs?

They should do what they are supposed to do and leave their personal opinions out of it, they have no mandate to talk for Rangers and perhaps if they spent more time actually doing what they are getting paid (Handsomely) for then Rangers might be in a better place right now.

Even in Administration your living out with your means , Portsmouth went into administration roughly same time as you , their bill is 500 thousand , yours is double or treble that at the moment !!!!

I think it is in their remit that they have to be seen to actively update the fans throughout the administration. If I was the public figure(s) getting part of the blame for Rangers troubles then I would want to be 'seen' to be on the same side as the fans, and push the impression that the hands are tied firmly behind the back. I think the statement is trying to show them in a way that they are fighting the SPL, but have no arms to throw any punches with and no legs to kick them with. I could be wrong, just my impression of them.
