Fair enough if they are showing games that are actually live on Sky or BT, but most of these are matches that aren't screened live in this country. For many this is the only way to watch a Swans game. When I was in Australia, Fox sports would show most games live - you just pressed the red button to select the match you'd actually like to watch. That is a great system, because to be honest I don't give a **** when West Ham are playing Sunderland or Liverpool are playing Chelsea etc, I just want to watch my teams match.
When you got to pay teams 60 million £ for the season , the Premier League need to protect the companys who pay for the rights .
Therein lies the self perpetuating problem , Sky & others threw money at the league to the detriment of the lower leagues ,an unfair playing field which has cost the ordinary working man the opportunity to watch his team due to the ridiculous and obscene wages paid for ordinary players .Good luck to anyone who gets away with showing games via a satellite feed , they're normally small pubs scraping a living and without shown the game would be just another boarded up pub . Protect the Companies sorry screw them ,they've screwed us for years
Once the Premier League was able to STEAL the other 72 teams's 50% tv money, it's been a steady dose of greed by the top 20 teams. The whole system should be revamped so the Football League gets a better share of money as the Premier keeps finding more ways to satisfy their quench for more greed. I hate the Premier , but am enjoying the feeling of being amongst it
Well I watch the games live on my Smart TV, and the Premier league and Sky can go and sit and spin, I'll always seek out a live feed illegal or not, sick and tired of this scam that is big business, all these publicans need to do is declare themselves bankrupt, and open up under another name again!............... Tonight I watched the champions league in HD, Manu v Bayo free, thank you Sky!................
Sky will not prosecute any pubs that show live games via foreign satellites providing they are paying their sky subscription. Fair enough to me. please note: I put that smiley in just because I haven't seen anyone else post it, no other reason. Thank you.
