I think it is a wonderful gesture.
He doesn't have to do anything.

I agree it is a brilliant gesture. Just a shame he wants to piss most off with all the other nonsense.

It's just a pity he doesn't show a similar sort of benevolence to the paying customers of his football club. Like not putting up season passes by 6%.

    38% in 2 years mate.
Allam obviously loves his paying customers. If he didn't it would have gone up 100%

"It will come back to bite them because the more you give something away for free, the more people will want something for free. They have put themselves in a very difficult position going forwards."

Up until 2 years ago I contributed 100% towards mine and my daughters pass. The nutjob then decided to change the name of the club. Doesn't seem right to me.

He only paid £1.5 million out of a £6 million cost and it was then called the Allam Building plus they gave him an honorary Doctorate - this 'gift' is for £7 million out of £25 million so no doubt he gets his name on it - you kind of feel sorry for the taxpayer who paid the rest and get no recognition at all

I guess we could all have our names on it, if only we'd accept shorter names. <ok>
