Now that Tom Elliott has stepped down as UUP leader who would Unionists and indeed Nationalists like to see take over?

I'm thinking Danny Kennedy would be best. They need someone who will work with both sides of the community.

Doesn't really matter does it, moderate Unionism is dead in the water. It's only nutcases like Medro who are electable now.

Your man from UTV News Mike Nesbitt will probably get it because people recognise his face.

Cause Rowdy IRA hating unionists get you hard?

It will be Mike Nesbitt. Jimmy would be a better option in my opinion.

Not likely <yikes> It's not just the IRA he hates. He's none too fond of anyone and is just in the Assembly to cause disruption.

FFS Mick, it's Jimmy Cricket - the most famous Irishman in the world. Call yourself an Irishman? If I had my way, you'd be stripped of your shillelagh and you'd never tarmac another drive. <grr>

History shows that when a political party is in the doldrums they have to be a bit radical to get things started again. I think the perfect choice would be Neil lennon <ok>
