    Uruguay v. Venezuela

Peneranda on from the start for Venezuela. This should be interesting.

*Update* He's showing some nice touches and has skinned his marker on a couple of occasions. He's not afraid to get stuck in either. The commentators are particularly impressed with him (but they are American natch).

He does have a very strange hair style and colour though. That will need changing to prevent a horrific clash with a yellow shirt.

Adrian Mariappa and Jobi Macanuff in action for Jamaica against Mexico.

Layun is having a great tournament for El Tre. His value will be going up.

    Surprised at Uruguay..

Argentina surely have to win this at last with Messi in the team.

BTW Video of our young striker in action.

I have seen his games in the Copa America - just wanted to say, I hope no-one is expecting a near complete player. I think he has FF´s stud problem too. I would say so far his performances have been talentedly frustrating.

    Chile v Panama tonight.

No players of interest apart from Alexis Sanchez (thanks Alexis). But I have never seen a bigger collection of crap tattoos in one place before. Truly awful inking from both teams.

Brazil changing their manager again - not the same threat without Neymar.

Well, lots of boys who all wanted to play together, went to the park. Four of them took off their jumpers and placed two of them eight yards apart and then the other two were put 100 yards away, mirroring this. Then, the boy whose ball they were playing with, said he wanted 'first pick' and he chose Alexis. Despite protestations that the sides were "Unfair!", Alexis and his pals duly twatted the other boys, kicking the ball seven times between their jumpers' 'goal'. I didn't see it but it's possible that the problem was exacerbated by "doing goal kicks, not centres".
It stopped at seven when Sanchez's mum came looking for him as he was supposed to have gone "straight home".
