I like that a lot. I'd have Auba and Firminio in for Phillips and Di Canio (as noted I think he has won a league). Pearce is an awesome shout I'll get howled at for this but I've liked Trippier whenever I've seen him (and with Athletico I reckon he'll get even better) so would pop him in myself. If it wasn't so strong up top I'd have suggested Robbie Keane (the MLS winners aren't league winners - splitting hairs...)

I know it's a different thread but yeah he clearly deserves to do so. As of yet he still has not so he's in my team
yeah but Phillips , at a time when less goals were scored , bagged 30 in a season and that was for Sunderland FFS
True and it's a good shout. They weren't all taps in either, there was some crackers in there. As a Newcastle fan (who doesn't mind Sunderland) I'd still happily put him in but it's the only part of this team which seems to have an embarrassment of riches.
