Just what Doctor C.H ordered Three points at the end of the day, I don´t think there´s doubt we deserved it Especially for our first half play And finally Hooper was set up In a spot where he couldn´t miss, And he obliged kindly and didn´t Making Pulis T. fume and hiss But how many in the position That Wes found himself, for the goal, Would have tried an unlikely pot shot Thank God he´s an unselfish soul And had Elmander´s cheeky flick on Earlier, not banged against the bar, Two clear we´d have been then and cruising And for Palace, one bridge too far But one down they were still encouraged And huffed and puffed in Pulis style, Without really doing much damage Mostly brute force rather than guile And on occasions when it mattered We matched them in that area too, One save on the line from M. Olsson Seemed perfectly timed and on cue So we did again what was needed A big win, with the pressure on, I won´t hide the fact I´m delighted That Hughton´s stay, this will prolong. OTBC
Your feelings mirror mine RBF. I had a little pop at Ed Butterworth on twitter for continuing his anti CH vendetta, it's a shame he shows no respect to the board for continually calling for THEIR choice of manager to be sacked! I'm sure his father Ian must be embarrassed by his son's lack of respect!
I don´t ´twit´ Dave, so I can´t comment first hand, but I have heard from others that he´s been behaving like a bit of a jerk, unlike his Dad, who was one of the most professional and loyal players we´ve had over the years.
