Buzzcocks were great when I saw them. Last gig I went to was Goldie Lookin Chain in Newcastle. It was bang on. Nowt planned, hoping to get a ticket the next time the Brand New Heavies play Hoochie Coochie as I missed out last time.

I was at that gig mate. Got to say, I love the Buzzcocks but as long as they employ **** sound systems they will do themselves an injustice...they sounded muffled that night at Sunderland uni and were last night at the carling academy in Newcastle. Couldn't make out any lyrics or spoken words, mega disappointing.

Let me know if you are gigging in the Newcastle area mate and I will try to get along to watch you.

But the way, what do you make of my complaint about the muffled noise? Surely the sound crew should know if something doesn't sound right?

Thing is I saw a few bands at the arena. Phonics, Bob Dylan among a few others. I found that when you stand next to where the crew are, sound is excellent. Move to one side or the other or too close to the stage and much the same as you said. **** systems don't help. The foo fighters at the sol sounded immense. Bon Jovi at the sol sounded awful and I was stood in the same place for both bands just about!

As for gigs in Newcastle. Got crawcrook, blakelaw and cramming ton over the next month or so but still waiting of my diary filling up

I love the Foofighters but I haven't met many who loved their live gigs.

Mate. The sol gig was one of the best I have been to. Proper tight band. Very good live.
