More excellent running of the club...

I almost can't be bothered to post this... you know how it goes by now, Town are paying off Ellington's contract and we apparently don't have the resources to upgrade our training facilities permanently to Category Two status so the kids that join us will be using portacabins. We did spend money on a consultant and a full time member of staff to tell us we need portacabins though

I agree offering Ellington a 2 year deal was idiotic at best.

However, as we've sadly gone down this avenue, I'm happy to see the management / club have admitted they've made a mistake and it appears he'll be on his way.

Have we ever cancelled the contracts of four supposedly first team players in one season before?

It was PJ that offered one of them the new contract that had to be subsequently cancelled and two of them (if Ellington goes) were actual PJ signings.

Risible stuff.
