Chelsea want to follow up the signings of Eden Hazard and Marko Marin with a move for Arsenal duo Bacary Sagna, 29, and Theo Walcott, 23 – Caught Offside <whistle>

  2. If they give us £20m+ for Walcott I would say yes please. As for Sagna, I am in a minority here, but I dont rate him as a top 4 player.

Well you can base the truth of that on the fact that the Hazard 'signing' is still speculation from the press. The guy has been such a WUM himself , when he says on Twitter he's signing for the 'CL Winner' that could still be Man U, Inter, Barca etc - and yes, even the Mickey Mousers . Believe it when it happens.

And do what with £20m? Unless we get some proper assurances from our stingy board, i wouldn't be willing to sell any of our players. They have proved in the past that they fail to replace a sold player. We will have yet to replace Fab and Nasri...

Oh and hands off Bacary. He is one of the few top professionals we have left in our squad. Selling him would be a double handed slap in the face, front and back....

I'd sell Walcott for 20 million, but wouldn't sell Sagna for love nor money. One of the worlds top RB's despite what Jayram says.

<ok> I'd keep Walcott, but I totally agree with you about Sagna - Jayram is wrong, but at least he's consistently wrong <laugh>

Sagna not good enough to be a top four player, but good enough to be in the PFA team of the year twice. How does that work?

In Jayramland, logic takes 2nd place to opinion.

Sagna is clearly one of the best, if not best, right back in the PL. Only players like Walker, Micah and Ivanovic come close but Sanga is better all-round.

  15. There's really no point - I could name 5 RB's I feel are better than Sagna, i could point to his poor crossing, the ease at which he is beaten by quick one-two's, the ease at which he brushed off the ball, his lack of pace, but as I said I am in the minority with these views - which I accept. If I went on to name a few I thought were better you would just disgaree....

then Piskie would chime in as usual with an insult, then i would insult him back. Eventually he'd be unable to take what he dishes out and he would start deleting posts after having the last word... then blaming others for the arguments whilst closing the thread...

So you see, it becomes a pointless exercise played over many posts...

If you dont mind I will just stick to my opinion that Sagna is a very over rated footballer <ok>

If you could name me 5 better, then do it instead of skipping the question. Why are you so concerned about PISKIE, this is between me and you.

I wouldn't sell Walcott or Sagna, we need to sign Walcott to a new long term deal.

Sagna is overrated? Seriously? If anything he is underrated by many. Now i'm curious who these super 5 right backs we have in the PL that are better than Sagna.

You see this is how Jayram works. He'll make wild claims, then not be able to back them up. Then when someone (usually me) presses him for an answer, he'll have a hissy fit and start making up all sorts of rubbish about the person who's pressing him, to try and deflect the attention away from the question. That's why the threads end up in a spat.

But for your sake Jayram, I'll stay out of this debate about Sagna and let you explain your reasoning.

Kyle, Oxo and Lazarus have asked you a question. At least have the decency to give them a reason behind your thinking, even if we don't agree with it. And remember, we're allowed to have different views . . . so all toys must stay in the pram <ok>
