I have just read on CI that the appointment of a successor to Nick may be delayed further due to legal action by nick depending on the result of his appeal.
I suspect that's incorrect. When (not if) NB's appeal is unsuccessful and he decides to go to Court, it will be for damages not reinstatement. Should have no bearing whatsoever on the appointment of a new manager
Agreed. Phil Buckingham says they have no news on when something will be announced, but they expect it will still all be sorted within the next week.
I have a feeling the way things have been going nothing will get announced we will all find out from other sources then a week or two later the Allams will tell the fans
does anyone know whether the shortlist of candidates has even been drawn up yet. sorry i'm one of those who wants things yesterday (so would be a useless chairman of a football club) - and i know we have to look at the pros and cons of every possible candidate etc. but if Macclesfield have got their new guy in less time after Horton leaving why are we still waiting.
That's what will happen if it's a crap candidate. They will prefer us to get used to the bad news gradually so when they announce it the shock element will be reduced. If it's a good candidate they will keep it quiet and make the announcement with plenty of fanfare.
The delayed announcement of Nicks appeal will be to do with the lawyers and IF the Allams have got it correct. It might also have something to do with the overall cost of carrying on with this silly and pointless action. IMO, Nicks leaving is not as cut N dried as it looked to be last week. Maybe it also has something to do with managers saying they are not interested in the Hull City Circus. Phil Buckingham knows as much as anyone else. Oh by the way, for what it is worth Steve Bruce was at AllamMarine on monday. He said No by all accounts.
Why would you interview a prospective new manager at Allam Marine when the logical place would be either somewhere discrete, or, the KC? Like has been the case from day 1 of this saga, we do not know what the delay is, how long it is for, why there is a delay, ffs we don't even know if there IS a delay.
Maybe the cleaning lady caught a glance of a mirror out the corner of her eye and mistook herself for steve bruce
I have just been told a report that Steve Bruce was spotted in every single school canteen in the country at lunchtime today.
I suspect, and I also reckon that Phil Buckingham knows, that the new manager has all but been in place for about a week or so. There is probably a heavy embargo on any news of Nick's replacement at the moment and the local media will be s h i t t i n g themselves about who is going to break it first.
who knows the cleaning lady at allam marine could look like the singer of the cyprus eurovision song? is any woman as ugly as bruce.
Sighted by someone i know who is working on site this week. No reason to diss the info at all. AllamMarine is a logical place to hold interviews and much better than the KC for starters. imo.
Are they allowed to interview while nicks appeal is going on? I accept even if they are not they will prob speak/interview people just not sure they would do it there. So not only do the Allam Marine staff know bruce was there they also know he's not taking the job doesnt seem to make much sense to me (and i know nothing about all this appeal saga lwas etc) when everything else is so hush hush
