A rerun of his first game in charge is on ESPN classic now and it has struck me how many people in that team aren't even in the squad now. Players like Woodgate, James, Bentley, Brown and Jenas all started that game and we rarely see them in a squad now. I think this is part of the problem. Most other teams have a settled side and there are only a few changes made due to injuries and severe loss of form. If you look at Brazil, they had Robinho, Fabiano, Melo and a few others in their starting line up who were all out of form and they had a successful world cup by anyone elses standards and were unlucky not to reach the final. We seem to change our starting line up in every game and it is to the detriment of our game.

Going into the world cup we didn't know who our keeper was gonna be let alone who was gonna play on the wings, who would partner Terry, who would play up top with Rooney etc. I don't know the figures but I'd suggest we have given out more caps to different players than any of the other big nations, a lot of them come in for one squad, get their token cap and are then forgotten about. It was the same under Sven and it boils my piss! Does anyone have any idea who is even gonna play on Saturday for us? I bet Postman Pat himself probably doesn't either. These constant changes to the team and now to the captaincy are creating problems we don't need and I can't wait till we get shot of this fool. What are your thoughts on how we move forward as a nation and if that dipstick was to follow my reasoning and pick a settled team, who would be in your line up leading into the Euros?

I appreciate a lot of you don't give a **** about England and I could've posted it on the England board but as you all know, only a Geordie opinion is a valid opinion.

It's better giving other players a chance! If Shrek and Gerrard are out of form they shouldn't continue starting for England.

If you keep chopping and changing then the players never get used to playing together, thats my only worry.

Agree with this except I'd have Ashley Young in there ahead of Johnson.

First post on your board and i agree, Barry offers nothing that Barton couldn do better. The passion alone would be a massive lift.
Sick of the same old ****ers playing who dont even care wether they win or lose.

I like this^. Have a bench of Green, Simmo, Cahill, Baines, Nolan, Walcott, Bent

Reserves of Downing, Dawson, M. Kelly, F. Forster (hopefully), Adam Johnson, K. Richardson for the Euros, Wouldn't complain with that.

    It will probably be though

    Foster
    Johnson - Terry - Ferdinand - A Cole
    SWP - Lampard - Barry - Gerrard - A Lennon
    Rooney.

That is why Im not going to support England much anymore.
