This is doing my nut in. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/football-news/article/2745798 Both Miller and TBK have asked for more time to resolve some issues before finalising their bids.
But today was definitely, unequivocally the last deadline. "Put up or shut up" as was stated last Friday. I almost feel sorry for the Rangers fans. Almost.
The Blue Knights are trying to secure cash and an agreement from Ticketus and Miller wants to write the SPL rules (no gonnae happen). There isn't actually a viable bid on the table just now, it would seem. TBK are just going to have to batter Ticketus and HMRC into a corner until both agree that getting something is better than putting in claims for divvying up (technical term) assets. It's beginning to feel like it could go on forever but, if the Blue Knights are going to take control, maybe the longer they get to force the hand of certain creditors, the better, long-term, for Rangers.
