Following on from BBC programme over the sick policy it now transpires that they are being charged with a criminal offence over it's dismissal of 83 UCS employees. These poor people were giving 15 minutes notice they were being made redundant with immediate effect. At the same time Ashley's trucks rolled up to take all the stock for his SD business even though he re-opened the UCS business as a seperate company and without incurring it's debt. ( Shark, even though legal is morally wrong )

Sports Direct chief executive David Forsey has been charged with a criminal offence following the collapse of fashion retailer USC.
The government's Insolvency Service said: "We can confirm that criminal proceedings have been commenced against David Michael Forsey."

"He is charged with an offence contrary to section 194 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992. We will not be commenting until the criminal proceedings have been concluded," said the Insolvency Service.

Earlier this year, Parliament investigated how Sports Direct laid off 83 staff at the USC distribution depot in South Ayrshire.

Almost immediately after it went into administration, the fashion retailer was bought by another part of Sports Direct, through a so-called pre-pack administration. It is now trading again, but with less debt, according to the committee, which met in March.

Keith Hellawell, the company's chairman, told the Parliamentary committee he and the board had not known anything about the collapse of USC until the day before it folded.

But, he said, Mr Forsey had begun "consulting" with administrators Duff and Phelps as early as 14 November. Dr Hellawell insisted the firm "didn't want" USC to fold.

Workers were given even less notice, 15 minutes, before they heard they had lost their jobs, the committee was told.

Ridiculous. They really don't give a **** about how they treat people and the impact they can have on people's lives.

Even more bad publicity for Sports Direct. Some weirdo called Al was seen wandering around with his arms full of Sports Direct merchandise in massive Sports Direct bags - while wearing mustard chinos.

Sports Direct have made a PR statement confirming that they do not know the man, do not sell mustard chinos and that staff have been told not to allow him within 500 metres of their stores. A further announcement suggested the possibility of legal action due to the impact the incident has had on their reputable brand.

At least they wouldn't object to an arse in the window, seeing as they've been putting up with one in the boardroom for so long!

They'd get Albert to paint SP on his left arse cheek and RTS on his right so they'd only have to pay for the 'DIRECT' half of their logo sign.

I see David Forsey has now resigned just before his trial. Hope SD get slaughtered in court, not that Ca$hley will be bothered.
