Don't know if anyone else follows this Steve Wraith guy on twitter, but I think he's a promoter of player events and he seems to get on well with the local journalists on there. This rather worryingly is what he posted earlier on
    and
    .

I really hope this isn't true, and some people have also mentioned that in the lap of honour on sunday he did have a rather noticeable limp.

Terrible news if true, just hope his legs still healing and he comes back just as strong!

    Heres his twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/stevewraith

He's talking bollocks. The player hasn't even fully recovered and has barely trained so how can he tell how good he is? Also he hasn't played football since September/October so he's clearly not going to be massively impressive

Load of ****e, there's no way MA would risk £5.5m of his own cash to buy a perma crock. It's still only been just over 7 months since the De Jong tackle, he has another 3 months before the new season starts. By that reckoning he's only around 70% through his recovery, even if he returns in time for the start of the season.

If he had a limp on Sunday then he's obviously not fully fit, give him time

Yeah well thats what I thought, but its just the Cripple comment that concerned me, maybe the healing process isn't looking good, they've just mentioned the same thing on Radio Newcastle aswell.

  17. Well i'd rather believe Pardew who said that his recoverying has been going well.

We could probably get the loan fee and loan wages covered because De Jong injured but from the transfer onward we wouldn't get a penny seeing as we knew he was injured when bought

  20. It's really quite frustrating that people bring this up when talking about Pardew.

It's not his fault that Liverpool offered 35 million, the club accepted it and Carroll handed in a transfer request.

No one expected Carroll to hand in a request or a deal of anywhere near that amount to come up.

Pardew had no say in the matter and was obviously convinced he wasn't leaving.

I trust Pardew that Ben Arfa is doing well with his injury.
