As much as Jazz is more of a midfielder than a full back, can't help but feel that the club see Lucas as the next guy in line for midfield. Not necessarily my personal choice, but it seems to be how the club see things.

And what is this guy doing turning clubs down? He's out of work and not getting paid weeks past the start of the season, yet he still holds all the cards when signing for a club. I hope he fails at all his other trials and has to get a 'real' job in order to buy his kids some Christmas presents...

"in order to buy his kids some christmas presents", not if he's a muslim !!!

Seriously, though, you would have thought that he would have welcomed the chance to play in P.L.,even if the offer was a bit below his "demands".

True that! So there's a lesson to be learnt there - if you're strapped for cash this Christmas, turn to Islam...

    "turn to islam".

In addition to saving money on christmas presents, just think of all the wives you can have.
Then think about all the children, and the benefits that will accrue.
As Arthur Daley so succinctly put it," a nice little earner".

Not saying he is a muslim,HTR,more a what if scenario. Not beyond the realms of possibility, however,as he could marry a muslim and convert.

Totally agree, and there are also Coptic Christians in Egypt. But Greeks are by and large full-on Orthodox. You're right though, there are always exceptions.

Makes no difference his religion , just that he can play football for us, we are in a dire position and need him, he has us over a barrel and knows it, wonder when the loan Market closes?

Don't think anyone is suggesting his religion or lack of it makes a difference Jager - have a look at how the thread developed. Yes, if he can do a job for us then sign him up. If he proves himself thwn we can revisit the situation in January. Win win.

Btw mid table for us potentially tomorrow if we get a result. :)
