    Well I'm pleased. Although Moras isn't fully match fit we need someone until the New Year. He has experience in Serie A where teams tend to be defence-minded and he's an international. His signing should mean we'll be OK at the back until Caulker, who has been excellent so far, returns.

    I'd be interested on what basis we were able to sign a player outside of any transfer/loan windows?

    Because he is a free agent, we can sign another over 21 as well , plus anyone under that

    I'm very pleased with this. As a mate said, 3 years in Serie A, 15 caps, I'd have been chuffed with this signing over the close season! It does make me wonder why he was kicking around on a free, but we do have a habit of getting the absolute most out of players, so why not?
