Doesn't matter who the manager/coach is, unless they start investing in the team again with quality signings (possible now under new ownership) they ain't going anywhere.
I agree you can keep sacking managers unless you invest, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
Having spent next to nothing over the last 18 months, they have this season, and mainly during January admittedly, spent around £.4.2m on players whilst securing c£1.7m on sales, so net £2.5m. I'm sure Kevin Nagle the new owner is intent on supporting whoever his coach/manager is, but investment in players recently is minimal. The locals are non too happy it's fair to say, hopefully Nagle represents a brighter future, but changing your coach with less that a week left in the January transfer window doesn't at face value seem too smart a move.
