Bony He was asked about Bony and stated that obviously there were no plans to sell and that as we are not a selling club it would take an "astronomical" amount of money for him to go although money talks so there are no guarantees. Michu He stated that the injury although was a niggling one they couldn't keep giving him injections to help him play. So for that reason he has gone on his summer break early to aid recovery. He insisted that with him fully fit next season he was hoping to have a potent strike force with him and Bony playing together. Youth Selection It looks as though he his charged with bringing young players through (hence the line up and bench on Sunday). He feels that this is the best way forward as the academy players "need to see that there is the chance for progress to the first team" in order for them to continue their developement. Although it was a very brief interview and there wasn't any really searching questions he came across very well and I actually feel quite good now for the coming season. He was very confident and self assured and had a vision for where he feels he wants to take the club and hopes he can progress it as past managers have done. How this will transfer onto the pitch is anyone's guess but I definitely wish him all the luck in the world and hope that this opportunity works out well for him and the club.
