compensation.

How much do I get? I didnt kill her either.

 

If he didn't do it, I think it's right that he gets compensated, but £1.4m? How long was he inside for?

 

7 year. £170,000 ish a year.

 

That's about right IMO. Must be a ****ing nightmare being banged up for something you didn't do. It's a good job we haven't got the death penalty anymore

He should be getting a lot more than £1.4million. He's had SEVEN full years of his life completely taken away. 24 hours a day, 265 days a year locked up when he was completely innocent. Quite shocking really.

 

I'd be ****ing raging if I spent 7 years inside a jail for something I didn't do and only got £1.4 million...

TBH, he is lucky to be getting that. Many people released after being wrongly imprisoned get sweet **** all!
