Now i was on another forum and on the everton board a fan had painstakingly worked out what he had spent on football during his 20 year affinty with the club, and it was a startling read. the person in question has been a season ticket holder for over 20 years buys the new kit every season, even took into consideration his pint, program and half time pie. to cut a long story short he worked out over the last 20 years he had spent about £14 thousand which worked out at Arteta's wages for 4 days give or take a couple of hundred quid each way. very alarming to say the least do you not think? so i pose the question is their anyone else out their who can calculate roughly but accurately what they have spent as a football fan and compare it to a players wage?
So on average the guy spent about £700 a season (14/20). Do you know roughly how many season tickets are sold per season at Everton? I thought it'd be interesting to see about how much money comes in from season ticket holders per season in comparison to the wage bill too.
suarezlfc well mine cost 543 these are the most expensive ones too in park end car the special ones, and id day they are at their most expensive over the last 25 years too, probably only cost abour 150 when he first got one, and has not taken into consideration inflation etc i suppose. in 2009 we sold over 24000, was higher the season after but lower this season so around that figure
