Hypothetically ... Ok the takeover is done ... We have unlimited funds I would love to read what available players we would like to bring in by the end of August that would blend straight into our current team? ... Should throw up a few opinions. (Of course I still believe that current team have it in them to become premiership quality)
Defence: Van Aarnholt (Chelsea), Dante (Borussia M. Gladbach), Gunter (Forest) Midfield: Parker (WH), Theo Janssen (Twente), Bullard (Hull) AM/Winger: Cole (Liverpool), SWP (Man City) Forward: B Ruiz (Twente), Crouch (Spuds)
What's the point in this? ------------------------------- http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...an-squad-rule-holds-the-key-to-QPR’s-spending
Speroni (CP) Walker (Chel) Samba (BR) Warnock (Evt) Parker (WH) SWP (MC) Gradel (Leeds) Crouch (TH) Sturridge (Chel)
I for one am getting fed up with this type of thread, if you can have this or that whats the point unless you know it can happen, lets wait for the final verdict and if we have squillions to spend then speculate until then keep it real
I thought it would be a good exercise to see our brothers views and preferences on who they would bring in ... so far most have picked a new team ... which sort of answers my fears really. The words i used was blend into our current team by August 31st so its realistic enough Northolt in fact have a go please.
Not too bothered either way, but if unattainable players names are getting chucked about, just wondering the point. Bullard, Puncheon, and 2 F/Bs on loan, the best they can get.
Given that at this moment no one is available to us so there are no 'realistic' responses, I will participate in the fantasy football shopping channel with a request for the entire Barcelona squad please, and Spanish/Catalan lessons for Neil
Damn! And Fulham of all clubs Twente ace fancies Fulham move Thursday 18th August 2011 10:57 Twente star Bryan Ruiz has revealed Fulham have made a move for him and he would be keen to switch to Craven Cottage. The highly-rated Costa Rica international forward had been strongly linked with Tottenham and Harry Redknapp admitted his interest, although added he was not a top priority. However, Ruiz has now revealed that a deal with Fulham could be on the cards. The 26-year-old told De Telegraaf: "Fulham is a serious option for me. "That is also a Premier League side and it is a fantastic league. "Fulham already contacted my agent. If Fulham does become serious, we will definitely talk." Ruiz has been linked with a number of clubs this summer, but he insists he is not worried about his future. "It makes no sense to worry, because I can't do anything about it," he said. "Of course I want a step forward, but believe me I don't have any problems for a longer stay at FC Twente. FC Twente is a fantastic club." http://www.teamtalk.com/news/2483/7109113/Twente-ace-fancies-Fulham-move
Surely they'd try and bring in a bit of quality (full-backs please!!!) and ship out the likes of Vine, Rowlands, Cook and Hulse on loan, paying only some of their wages, until they can flog them in January? In the long-run the enhanced wage bill for the next four months is surely worth the risk when weighed up against the cost of Premiership survival? I'd love to see Barton, Parker and Crouch, but reckon the best we can hope for is Bullard, Puncheon and the likes of Bertrand/Degen/Van Aarholt on loan.
