Money In the EFL

i had no idea there is so much money in the EFL.

I thought SL was one of the richest in FOOTBALL but he isn’t even top of the Championship rich list - even Barnsley is richer than us!!!

The overseas money always makes me wonder how they earned it and who suffered along the way. Foreign ownership should be curtailed as much as possible otherwise our leagues will be used to wash dirty money, if indeed they are not already.

where I went for a meal on Saturday .. round trip of 1300 miles that would buy you 2 bottles of SKYE GOLD and 2 glasses of wine [ quite decent amount in glass to be said ] and still be left with 31p …………….. 3" of snow on the journey back over the BEALAG, and down through Glen Coe etc tops were white and lochs azure blue [ no clouds or wind] and like mirrors temp through the glens and back past loch Lomond, stopped for 20 mins was 24c tee shirtweather worth a damn sight more than burning a bank note …………

 

Yet Marcus Evans gives Ipswich very little money

 

Yes that puzzled me.
During last seasons LJ debate, some people were calling for Mick McCarthy to replace him - but Ipswich weren’t doing very well at the time - apparently because they were skint - yet they have that rich bloke as an owner? Doesn’t make sense.
