    Good luck with that Pop.

A bit of advice I always give - in the future, after you've chosen your selections, do a small stake 4 or 5 fold as well to try and cover your outlay.

Man Utd are gathering pace Terry. Also, without Bony Swansea look a little unsure of themselves.

I expect Man Utd's recent form to continue and be too much for the Swans this week.

Form is subjective in this case mate, there's plenty of good form as far as the results say on paper but I worry every time I watch us nowadays. The football isn't there, it's nowhere near there in fact. If LVG reverts to type I fear we'll be brushed aside regardless of Swansea lacking Bony.

I reckon we'll draw there, so if I have a dabble on your pred's then I'll probably leave us out, although I won't be sad if you are telling me 'I told you so' on Monday :)

    Aye okay mate....we'll see then.

I'll say - Swansea 1-2 Man Utd (Rooney and RVP) if fit for me.

I appreciate that you know better than me on the tactics employed by LVG especially the unrest from some supporters regarding the long ball game etc, however, you lot, despite your overall performances of late, simply have more match winners in your side, whereas Swansea have only scored 3 goals without Bony.

I hope my system proves me right.

    Good luck tomorrow !

I hope you're right too mate, obviously.

I'm just being pessimistic about my team mate, not your predictions, you know how it is when your team's not ticking.

Always do small stakes mate. It is only for fun after all. I`m terrible at gambling. I couldn`t bet big sums. I wouldn`t physically be able to let go of the money. <laugh>

Something my grandmother said to me over 50 years ago which I`ve never forgotten.

"If you`ve got sixpence to spare and you put it on a horse, that`s fine. If you haven`t got sixpence to spare and you still put it on a horse, you`re a fool."

    Wise words.

Only bet today what you won't miss tomorrow is my maxim. Yep, boring.

Me and the missis like Roulette once in a while. If we walk away with what we brought the table after 4 or 5 hours, its been a good, enjoyable night out.

Everything else is either an early night back in the bar, or a bonus (mind, a bonus could be a few grand).

Some of the gambling discussed on here scares me big time though.

Some of you are serious players!

Not boring at all mate. Very sensible imo.

Gambling with the sole idea of winning a fortune is a daft idea. Ask William Hill.

Hello BM, can I apologise and just say, I'm not aware of any discussions on this topic that suggests anyone being out of their comfort zone regarding gambling beyond their means.

However, if any of part of my topic hasn't been explained in enough detail to make it clear that it is in fact a fun topic, or if any discussions have have offended anyone, I apologise now unreservedly. My intentions are fun orientated and that's a fact. That said, who am I to challenge your opinion.

I don't and will never advocate gambling as a profit ethic because it's not and never will be. I thought I'd made it clear that it was a fun topic, maybe I was a tad too enthusiastic kidda.

Maybe this is not the right site to post gambling topics BM, please accept my apologies mate !

Whoa Rackem, you totally got the wrong end of the stick mate. You've absolutely got nothing to apologise for.

I was actually referring to other previous posts on here, from way back, nowt to do with this thread, when some guys have talked about their heavy betting. I can recall 1 guy saying he'd had a real problem with gambling in the past. That was what I was on about, so my apologies for not making that clear.

I totally get where you're coming from on this thread and you've got me popping into the bookies putting a few quid on a couple of your punts.

Keep them coming mate. My apologies again, for not making myself clear. I'll blame the Guinness!
