He didn't prove anything in the CL, he was flapping around the Allianz Arena like a fish out of water as Madrid slapped 4 past an 'Unstoppable' Bayern. He's got a bit too much Barthez about him for me, he wants to show boat and be the big shot. De Gea this season has been a different level, he's Spain's number 1 now, Casillas is done, he's been the best 'keeper in the world this season.

De Gea has had one 'great season' You have to do more than that to be the best in the world. neuer has just won the world cup and come 3rd in the ballon dor, you dont have them honours if your a 'flapper' Sure you can pick out a couple bad games, de gea has had a couple this season. But to say de gea is now better than neuer because hes had 1 good season (and won nothing in the season) is just stupid. But like you say, its my opinion.
