Limegrove

In charge. No prices yet though so my work morning is going to be disjointed to say the least refreshing the market on oddschecker.

I have a very strong bet for tomorrow but unfortunately it runs in the very last race of the day.

Windsor
8.00 Bin Singspiel 11-4

This horse was expected to win with ease on it's first outing this year but failed to do so being beat 1 length into second. This horse is very unexposed and I feel will take this race without trouble. He was doing his best work late on in the earlier race and I fully expect this extra furlong and a half, dryer ground and the benefit of a run to mean this horse can take a grade 5 handicap. Take the best price as soon as you can would be my advice, with best odds if possible. I have taken 5-2 with Bet 365 which is best odds guaranteed, but it is available at 11-4 with Paddy Power.

Blue i'm uninspired by tomorrow's racing and have therefore backed your selection with Paddy in hope of boosting the Punchy funds. Goodluck Blue.

I do agree with you on the quality tomorrow Rainbow but as far as punting goes I have already seen about 5 horses I like the look of and will probably back, and it's not every day you can say that.

Although the only decent bet will be Bin Singspiel there are definitely some opportunities tomorrow. Gabriel the Thug at Ponty looks good at 3's for sure. I also think Ryan Moore could have a very good time of it at Windsor tomorrow night as you mention, not just on the Stoute horses though as he has some good outside rides as well for Noseda and Elsworth.

Good luck should you play anyhow <ok>

Bluesky <cheers>.

Having looked at the racing again I am definitely backing SEA SHANTY (6.00 Windsor 9/2).He has some really nice bits of form from three starts as a 2yo. Chasing home Moohaajim on debut before disappointing at Newbury next time out when sent off 2/1 fav. Although only 3rd on his final start as a juvenile at Even money fav he was behind what looks a very useful prospect in Fort Knox who was an impressive winner of the 2000 guineas trial at Leopardstown earlier this month. The second home at Newbury that day Beautiful View went on to win a Newmarket maiden by 3 1/4 lengths next time out suggesting the form is very solid. Sea Shanty runs tonight off what looks a lenient mark imo (73) and I am hopeful he can get the better of current fav Zamoyski.

Interesting write up RV. He was gelded over the winter and I think Hannon thought a fair bit of him before. He's well bred and the mare was consistent and tough. If he's over the operation he should be in the first two. Bell seems sweet on the Queen's other runner today in Galleon. He was mainly run over 10f by Stoute last year but Bell seems to think he's a stayer. (entered for the Chester Cup). If Bell's right he should give her a winner.

Bustino <ok> I remember Galleon from last season and found him a little bit frustrating as I thought he had plenty of ability. Definitely interesting to see him upped in distance and 8/1 is a decent price <cheers>

Another one for me GUISING 7.30 Windsor 7/2 was a most impressive winner at Mussleburgh last time out when beating subsequent winner Ambleside by 7 lengths. He was always in control that day and I definitely don't think winning off a mark of 78 tonight is beyond his capabilities. He was conceding 20lbs to Ambleside that day who was receiving the 3yo allowance. Ambleside won off a mark of 70 at Beverly next time out beating an improving sort that had won a handicap by 22 lengths off a mark of 75 on his previous start (very weak race admittedly).

I like the Hugh Taylor selections today lads. I don't usually look but I have and they look pretty good to me. I think he's going to get the double up.

STH - Stickleback and St Paul De Vence.

I never follow him though so i have no idea whether he ever gets the doubles up.

'Updated 9:28, 9:47 - all selections online.

STICKLEBACK shaped like an out-and-out stayer last time and can go well in the Pontefract Marathon Handicap (3.40), a race in which his trainer has an excellent record. Micky Hammond won this race in 2009, 2010 and again last year, and Stickleback looked just the type for it on his reappearance over 2m2f. Stickleback looked one of the first beaten that day, off the bridle and losing his prominent position after the half mile pole despite wearing cheekpieces for the first time, but he rallied in the straight and gave the impression he was only just getting going at the line, staying on strongly to finish third. He gave the impression that today’s extreme test would be right up his street and this doesn’t look a strong race.

It took a long time for the penny to drop when ST PAUL DE VENCE won on his second start at Kempton in December and he looks potentially very well handicapped in the extended 1m 3yo handicap at Windsor this evening (6.00). He was clueless when thrown in at the deep end in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot on his debut, unsurprisingly never making an impact, and it seemed as if he hadn’t learned much from that race when next seen six months on at Kempton, as he had to be ridden along from some way out despite the steady pace (the race was run nearly two and a half seconds slower to the 3f pole than the four races for older horses run on the same card). At the 2f pole he still appeared to be struggling before he suddenly found his stride and surged past his rivals, looking a different class to most of them. The next four horses have all won since and the second, third and fourth are currently rated 73, 74 and 79 respectively, so having been well in control at the finish despite taking so long to get going St Paul De Vence looks more than fairly treated off a mark of 80.'

There you are. That's his thoughts today.

Limegrove is entered up twice on the 25th where I imagine she will be a crap price but win well.
