What a great performance it was monday night,3 more wins and we are there,i cant believe for one minute the fa could give us a points deduction at this late stage, mind you it is run by idiots so you never know,if they did could that leave the door open to sue them for loss of earnings,as we could already be promoted,it would be worth a lot of money when not if we go up,i cant understand why they are dragging their heels over it,they seem to be scared to make a decision

I believe the club asked the FA for time to prepare their case hence the interminable delay. The worry I have is that if we had rock solid evidence that no rules were broken this would have been presented during the original investigation but obviously nothing that has been said so far has convinced the FA there is no case to answer. My assumption is that the club are working on the position that a) they didn't knowingly break any rules, b) no rules of the organization in which we are competing were broken and c) no other English clubs are directly affected by this so no justification for points deduction. I hope one of these approaches does the trick! For sure it is outrageous that neither the FA or the club have offered us, the fans, any kind of update even about dates and the overall process. We just pay for all this, right...

FA can't afford to have the situation run over to next season. And whilst it's possible that this could happen no matter what they do (Leeds/Cardiff could appeal if we don't get docked enough points to prevent promotion, and we'll appeal if we do) I reckon a fine for 'Administrative errors' is the most likely outcome.

Basically it needs to be resolved before the end of the season, because at that point (or June 1st) the transfer window opens. And they can't really let themselves get dragged into accusations of their incompetence making a promoted team start at a disadvantage due to not being able to negotiate contratcs or sign players.

I can see a large fine... after all the fa have also lost over 30 million in the new sky deal so will not want to lose anymore.

FA is run by men with their heads in the clouds.

    Logic counts for nothing.

Expect the illogical, and you wont be disappointed.
