Rock The World 13/8 Roscommon 8:00 - put in a flawless round in his beginners chase last time out and barring accidents he is sure to follow up here tonight. Stable are in form too which helps.

Jan Van Hoof 9/2 Pontefract 9:10 - 3 good runs in maidens finishing 2nd, 2nd, then winning at the third time of asking. Opening mark of 72 looks workable and he should be up to taking a class 5 contest from it on his seasonal reappearance.

Best of luck to all as usual.

Great work as usual attivo <ok>

Ayr 3:30 - Evanescent 11/2. Had a decent comeback run last month when finishing 2nd, runs off the same mark in this but the jockey is claiming 3lbs would could be very valuable. Seems to like it round Ayr too, from 3 starts there he's had 2 wins and a 2nd.

Ayr 5:30 - Boy In The Bar 9/2. Has been running well in better races than this, just think he could be too good for a lot of these. He's had 2 decent runs this year for his new trainer Fahey, progressing with each run I'd say, should be 3rd time lucky tomorrow.

If something beats Mr Lupton in the opener at Thirsk tomorrow it will most likely be worth following in the future as I thought he's a bit of a cert. It's a price thing though and 6/4 isn't meaty enough to be worth taking on a load of unraced types that could be anything.

Shammick Boy, he could have had a leg in that Ron but he chose to go with the unknown Foxtrot Knight. The lure of Olly Stevens, the next great thing never to happen.

Stick. FFs stop living in the past :) (btw check out the FFS album)

Shackled N Drawn tonight, he is a much nicer type than foxtrot and if the bag of balls has him right, he looks really well handicapped. Really well.

I have to admit Windsor on a monday night is my guilty pleasure and in fairness Matt Chapman is a pretty good tipster. Here are my selections -all just hunches. Best of luck.

    6.50 Menai 2/1 2pts win
    7.20 Symphony of kings 5/2 2pts win
    7.50 Inspector Norse 9/1 1pt ew
    8.20 Cartmell Cleave 2/1 3pts win (NAP)
    8.50 Athletic 6/4 2pts win
    9.20 You're my Cracker 11/2 1pt win

Also THE GAME CHANGER at Roscommon 8pm. Should be a brilliant race with Rock the World and Upazo. Just leaning towards gigginstown based on it having greater potential.

    Good luck all.

Jim Goldie is on for a 7500/1 treble for the day if grand old man GRAND DIAMOND 33/1 can land this 6.05 under a useful amateur.

Very nicely handicapped for a tilt at this if the young girl can give him a strong ride. Had a little pre-Windsor nibble. Do enjoy some of the Monday night cards every now and then <ok>
