Mick Channon in tremendous form at the moment, 5 runners this weekend here there and everywhere and all won! 2 at brighton today, 1 at curragh yesterday, 1 at epsom and 1 at deauville. 5/2, 7/2, 12/1, 8/1, 8/1. Pays to stick with Channon for this month, Has 2 runners tomorrow, sends em to Beautiful Brighton, Angelic Guest in the 4 45 Ettie Hart in the 5 15 Both 10/1 shots, both 3 year olds, and both in crap races and the sort of races Channon targets for horses like them
Zebs Lad big danger in that 5:15 though, down about 20 pounds, good horse too with the best young amateur jockey in the business onboard in Josephine Gordon, and it's 25/1!!!! Definitely saver
Pretty pointless really isn't it **** it, singles on all 4 and a few quid on the channon double @ 100/1, might as well double up the two insurance policies in zebs + starsnangels
Margarets Gift up at Ponty -quietly fancied the other day but got hit -when chance had gone jockey didn't give a hard time - out fairly quickly tonight ..14/1
Interesting to see Buzz's conqueror make a quick reappearance at Brighton today. I looked at CAPTAIN GERALD's form in depth after the race, as you do, and noted that it was only its third run on turf. Due to handicap revisions it has only gone up 3lbs so if given another positive ride today it should go close again. Really like the Godolphin debutante in the Windsor opener tonight, they dont mess around when sending youngsters to this venue and BIN BATTUTA is smartly bred. 7/4 looks very appealing!
Canford Belle at 13.00 in the 14:45 at Brighton Kiwi Bay at 5.00 in the 15:30 at Ayr Vallarta at 5.00 in the 16:30 at Ayr Heads You Win at 6.00 in the 16:45 at Brighton Good luck! http://freebetcalc.com/odds-calculator/yankee-calculator?prefill=13.00,5.00,5.00,6.00
Joseph's first day as a licensed trainer and he's got plenty running for him. Quite likely to be the start of a long and illustrious career.
I imagine daddy is trying to give him as many non-Coolmore horses as possible so he doesn't have to deal with them d**ks
Great start. I know he hasn't sold up everything and used his life savings to start out but a nice way to begin. At 23, he has to be among a minority of trainers to train a winner at that age. Any other people of note who had a training career this young?
8:30 windsor - papa luigi 9/2. Has ran well over the c&d before and was running in much better company last season. Decent start to this season and goes off the same mark today as when winning last time out. 8:45 pontefract - red harry 8/1. Debut for new trainer who does well with sprinters, horse has won before when coming back from a break so will chance it. Singles and double.
