Chepstow 2.25 Tanrudy Holds his form well over fences this season. Responded well to blinkers when 3rd at Fontwell last run. 1lb lower now. Stable has had 25% of his chasers in the money at this track over the last 5 seasons. Should be in the mix.
Agreed. Some punt on OUR DOTS BABY in the opener at Chepstow. 9/2 from an opening 20/1 and when you have a look at the formlines you can understand why they might well fancy it.
Chepstow 1.20- Dagueneau 9/4.Lost a shoe lto at Newbury and finished fourth. Looks a poor race and can take this. Keep an eye on Marley Firth in the last ridden by my man Rex Dingle.20s into 16s.Over at Ayr Gordy Elliot sends three over but the one I think has the best chance of obliging is Sport Yankee in 2.10 7/2.With the yard in such stonking good form I'm suprised this lad isnt shorter and has a decent pilot on board in Fergus Gregory.
Chepstow 3.30 The Gipper Was a selection here before his last 2 or 3 runs. Wouldn't be surprised if he wins this today.
Ayr 1.05 Largy Princess - stable does well here: 35 out of 89 runs over hurdles at this track have been in the money over the last 5 seasons - last time 2nd at Carlisle was a good performance - rider takes off valuable 7lb Wouldn't be surprised if Largy Princess beats her more fancied stablemate.
hi fellas! yes,DAGUENEAU for me too.his last run wasnt devoid of promise, and it looks a slightly better race than todays contest.good chance.
hi fellas! chepstow,1 20: fresh form is very thin on the ground here, but the contest,DAGUENEAU ran in last time out at newbury looked slightly better than this race, and he ran with some promise there.can build on that here..
Lucinda Russell about Emissaire at Ayr in the upcoming Race: "Emissaire won his bumper here two years ago, but he has been rather on edge to train since then. He loves his jumping though and I think that he will run a good race tomorrow with ground conditions to suit him." Worth a bet in my opinion.
Wolverhampton 4.15 Wensley I like these low grade apprentice races on the all weather. Its a puzzle to solve with often surprising results. For me Wensley seems to be a hidden one. Last 3 runs were better than the results suggests. Now on a career low mark. Maybe the break has done him good. Decent apprentice up. Shrewed connections. No forlorn each-way hope for me.
Chepstow 1.50 Falberto Seems to be overpriced given the fact he ran well at this track on heavy in a bumper. With Sam Twiston-Davies up could outrun his odds.
Ayr 2.10 Duty Girl Eyecatching debut for new stable last time at Southwell (4th) on soft over shorter giving the impression step up in trip could suit. Mark down 2 lb.
chepstow,2 25: a big field, but probably not too many with really compelling claims here.i think,THE MANUSCRIPT can go well,if bouncing back from a lesser effort at lingfield last time out,but he might not have liked the extreme conditions there.but time before,he ran very well off this mark, and if able to recapture that form, has a solid shout today..
Chepstow 2.55 Islandray Trainer Richard Philips 23 % with his hurdlers this season. Has had 4 hurdlers in the money from 12 runs at Chepstow over the last 5 seasons which doesn't look bad. Money coming down on this one. Could sneak a place at least at big odds.
Maybe its interesting to know for you what Lucinda Russell writes about her third runner today at Ayr in the 2.40 Dr.Hooves: Our third runner Dr Hooves was taken out of Musselburgh on Friday due to the quicker ground and he will be happy on tomorrow's going. He makes his chase debut but is another who loves his jumping and he has always looked as if this will be his game.
