Thanks Stick! Very informative. I somehow had it in my head the claiming prices were in the same ballpark for the all the runners. A few shillings of variance between them wouldn't have surprised me but I didn't expect there to much of a disparity. Your explanation makes perfect sense. Thanks!

Meanwhile, I'll just quietly slope back off into the shadows for a short while after that terrible shout with Admirable Art. Sorry folks!

There were 3 claims in total for Captain Cat. Paul Murphy and old girl Amy Murphy making the other 2. No claims for anything else that ran in the heat. Marjorie Fife was, of course, Broadway Dream’s original handler.

Going to be fascinating to see what Captain Cat’s new connections do with him. My advice, detailed earlier, remains. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more…
