BOLD AND FREE Windsor 6.30 has had the obligatory three runs and will now step up markedly on what he has shown so far. Cracking apprentice in the saddle and yard in really decent form.
8.30 Windsor Mexicali 13/2 is one I'll pop up a write up for tomorrow at some stage. Shaped very encouragingly in a better race than this on his first start for 13 months at Ascot and handicapper was nuts to drop him 4lb to a mark of 80 which lets him get into a 0-80. Beat a subsequent Italian Group 1 winner on his final start in France eased down and looks chucked in on some of his French form.
Backed that one LTO ROTO stunned at the 4lb drop. I actually can't believe that - I don't understand where it's come from.
aye-- maybe so, but he does get his share of winners-----just want to flag up Drifting Mist in the last at Naas--M Halford in cracking form-- this its first run in a handicap-- could be a blot !
Don't forget that SEA THE STARS' first runner makes his debut today. JUVENILE LEAD runs in the 2.15 at Leicester I won't be about to see the race as I have to go to a funeral this afternoon, but I will pop back to see what people thought of the debut runner.
Morning all, as PN mentioned we have Juvenile Lead out today, I hope he runs well. Have a good day one and all.
Morning all 2 for me today both in very questionable races both small ew bets they both seem to big to refuse so here goes 545 George Benjamin leic at 11/1 superior edge 25/1 3chep good luck all
Hello, crew. Hope all on board are well. Iâm quite surprised by the odds being shouted re this Juvenile Lead. Would have expected such a relatively high profile runner to be quite a bit shorter. I wonât be getting involved at all today but Whaleweigh Station also looks intriguing not only because heâs the punchline of one of my favourite jokes but also because he has a nice pedigree and is related to Dutch Art. In comparison I note the market is going mad for this thing of Sir Henryâs which is making its belated racecourse bow at Royal Windsor this eve - Court Pastoral (8.00). His dam was a Group 1 winner I see. Anyone heard ought about the Court Pastoral??? Good luck all.
looks a couple of interesting races this afternoon - JUVENILE LEAD in the 2.15 and REPLY in the 3.05. given how Ryan Moore is riding right now I also fancy him to take the first at Windsor tonight aboard LILBOURNE LASS
Juvenile Lead's odds are getting longer from this morning. Despite it's breeding, someone must've seen something worth doubting in it. I've plumped for Cable Bay to upset.
Cable Bay would have been my choice with a gun to my head but too late, the race is over. Not very encouraging for the Sea The Stars colt. One would have expected it to be unplaced but running on. Not so.
My only punt of the day - came in at 7/1. It found an extra gear in the last furlong - looked to be trailing but looked like it still could've given more. One I'm keeping my eye on
