A couple of tentative selections at Uttoxeter this evening:

6.20 La Belle Doyenne - won a juvenile bumper over 13 furlongs on good ground on debut before struggling on her next 2 starts on ground with more cut. Alan King is not one to rush his young horses and clearly wants to get this 4YO filly out on some decent ground and I think she may have a touch of speed and class to outpoint her more stoutly bred rivals.

8.20 Ocean du Moulin - Lawney Hill has her string in good nick with 3 winners and a 2nd from her last 6 runners and Ocean du Moulin can continue the good work.

I totally agree with Ocean Du Moulin Oddy. This is it's first run for the new yard and usually she can get them to improve. Her summer team is usually very good so this is the time to back them.

Will be heading to galway this thursday so keeping the powder dry today but caim hill looks like a decent e/w in the 5.35 so might be tempted for an e/w bet at 7s.Those from this end of the irish see might recognise a horse in the 5.00 called seeyouincoppers!!!

Yarmouth 3.15 BEAT THE BELL 15/2 - Ran well LTO even though he was raced wide, J Osborne`s stable are in form and looks a good e/w bet with 8 runners.

I'm quite interested in Sir Mark Prescott's YOURS EVER in the 3:05 at Ayr. Last run can be excused as it was making a reappearance only 7 days after its previous run. Ground a bit of an unknown as its only run on all weather, one run on turf was soft. Out of Dansili, which has produced some top milers and sprinters (Famous Name, Bated Breath, Delegator), interesting they are trying this one over 13f. I think SMP has been looking for some good ground to run this one on and has sent just the one runner to Ayr today, a mere 800 odd mile round trip, so i'm thinking he's not there for a run out!

Authinger is expected to go close for Arthur Moore in the 4:30 @ Galway, currently 12's - 16's, definatly worth a good each way bet.

I think the overpriced SPAVENTO is an interesting runner in the 4.15 Ayr today. She's sure to appreciate good ground and will run a big race today back to 9f, play ew at upwards of 20/1.

I see that Wordsaplenty goes again at Bath on Friday. I think if she has a decent jockey who can keep her out of trouble she might be worth an interest.
