A bit of jumps news to whet the appetite. Ah just reading the names of those horses makes me smile https://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/nicholls-relishes-altior-clash/170943 https://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/down-royal-target-for-clan/170917

Agreed Oddy, just reading today's racing post and this was the front page story. This flat season can't end quick enough!!!
One does have to wonder if they have left it too late with this switching Altior to 3 miles, or indeed 3 miles +, malarkey. The old boy will be just a handful of days away from turning 10 on St Stephen’s Day ’19. Is it more of a second thought after him losing some of his speed??? Wouldn’t be for me in the King George VI Chase at this stage. However, in old Saint Nick we trust, and all that, so I look forward to him, possibly, changing my mind between now and then. The joker in the pack, re that heat incidentally, could be my old fave Bags Groove.
I can see Mr Mullins having a right good go this year again - perhaps with Kemboy? I think they will want to keep Kemboy and Al Boum Photo apart until Cheltenham so ABP for the Savills Chase and Kemboy the King George?
