Just picking up on some interesting action surrounding 2 JP McManus horses at Wexford. Firstly Corbett's Cross was touched off by Heart Wood (in receipt of 15lbs) in a listed chase over 2m 7f - a good seasonal debut from Corbett's Cross at the weights and he will be a force to be reckoned with in staying chases this year (might he go to Newbury for the Hennessy? A mark in the low 160s will surely be tempting). Secondly Inthepocket overcame almost a year's absence to beat Farren Glory convincingly over 2 miles and lay down an early marker for the Arkle.
