I like BREAKING WAVES in the Huntingdon bumper despite the fact that the yard are pretty poor in bumpers. This one has a super pedigree.
EW money only and an EW double with KAYF STORM at Market Rasen.

Good shout with Breaking Waves Stick....I was on Kayf too, along with the other Kim Bailey bumper flop!

Why did you pick him mate?

One of the punters in the shop had been given a 'whisper'. As his 'whispers' are above average, I think half the shop were on it this afternoon.
He also told a couple about Chief of Chiefs last year. After the first couple of races for it, I think half the bloody town were on it then, let alone half the shop mate <laugh>

Fair enough mate. The horse is a half brother to OK Corrall and Lithic so was entitled to be more than useful in this sphere. It was an incredible performance if you were watching, had the door closed on him about 3.1/2f out and he nearly came down. He was relegated to one from last at that point and looked a lost cause but he fairly flew up the straight and in the end won a tad cosily. He has a future. I wonder how much they want for his half sister.

Just before the race started, we told the punters that no more bets would be taken until after the race as we had a 'vested interest' :)
Think there was more noise from the punters in the shop cheering it on at the end, than there was for the Gold Cup.
Mind you, when it nearly came down, there was a fair bit of noise then as well from the punters <yikes>
