Good Luck <ok>

Okay, do not shoot the messenger time.

My mate has been told (by someone in the syndicate that owns it) to get on the following:

Ripon 2.40 – On To The Rouge, trained by Peter Niven.

It has no ‘flat’ form to its name but it has run in a couple of NH Flat races. Can it handle dropping in trip by nearly a mile?

To say that since, forum favourite, Lady Bamford bought the 4YO Palladium things haven't gone smoothly is perhaps a contender for understatement of the year. There have also been numerous changes of plan along the way. The latest tops the lot, though, as the old boy has now been gelded!!! What has happened to his stud career that was due to commence in '26 or '27?!? Answers on a postcard, please, to the usual address. Also does this mean that a move back to the NH sphere and Seven Barrows is imminent??? Although the only entry Palladium currently holds is in the Group 1 Long Distance Cup, on the level, at Ascot in October. 33/1 currently available for Palladium to top the bill in Royal Berkshire.

Other news relating to that family is that Palladium's yearling half-brother (by Japan) is due to be sold, in Baden-Baden, on 5 September. Will Lady Bamford be tempted again...probably not, methinks.

After the race the Vet reported gelding was lame on his left-fore leg
