The final 9 holes of the US Open were one of the biggest farces in the last 20 years of sport. Yes Dustin got his well deserved major, won me a lot of money and he was the best player all week despite having no idea if he was in the lead or not for the back nine. The USGA made a mockery of it and it affected Lowrey and everyone else. Never seen anything like it. Let's hope England don't score tonight against Slovakia and the officials announce it may not have been a goal and will review it at the end of the game.

Brilliant win for Dustin Johnson. Pained me to see my fellow countryman fall apart on the final 18 after a dazzling first 3 rounds but Johnson struck the ball brilliantly yet again, he's a monster and now the monkey is off his back who knows what he can do. We've a 700 yard par 5 to look forward to at next year's US Open so at least he might have to hit a 4 iron into that one <laugh>

Agree with the ruling too, disgraceful by the USGA and affected many players, but Johnson is the coolest man on the golf circuit and he didn't let it get to him today <applause>

    Southwell 2.45 Diamond Tammy 25-1

Was with the trainer's father last night, and he says they are expecting this one to run well.

Fans of the great Nikinsky may want to tune into ITV4 at 7pm this evening
as there will be a 15-minute documentary about the champion racehorse's Triple Crown win in 1970. <ok>

Admiral Blake stands out at Southwell in the 315 . Admiral should stay in the conditions and 13/2 looks extremely fair

Is there a bigger mug off in betting than a dead head for 2nd??? There's no 3rd place so if u backed the 4th horse u dont get e/w, but if u backed one of the seconds u get half the money even though 2 seconds is the same thing really (2nd n 3rd) what the **** is all that about

    Like if it wasn't a dead heat for 2nd and u had 2nd / 3rd you'd get more than a dead heat 2nd with no 4th. That's just bullshit

Rachael Blackmore at it again...She's really good, heck of a jockey she's proving to be. The best of the "new" woman I've seen. Now to just start backing her selections <laugh>

Trust me I wanted to cash out about 10 times last night for £400 or £500 especially when there was the confusion over the penalty shot but stayed firm and willy hills can count the costs lol
