Patient Owner for henry oliver in 1 30 Lingfield , a race full of dodge pots and exposed horses , this is not in that bracket , and from a yard that is very good at finding opportunities, 10/1 seems very fair . hope the meeting is on !

Yep - lots of articles on Racing Post. Been planned for a while apparently, wanted to go out with a winner.

One of the greats, loved his style. One of my fondest memories on here was being laughed out of town when I tipped lord Windermere for the gold cup and I was there to bare witness.

Lovely card at Punchestown and well done to the IHA and everyone involved in rescheduling <applause>

Clearly the John Durkan is the highlight of the card with Galopin Des Champs stepping into open company for the first time. This is no penalty kick with Fakir D'Oudairies having a good record when fresh and back to his best trip. However the favourite has looked such a superstar over fences and hopefully this will be the launchpad to the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Elsewhere on the card, the double green colours of Munir / Souede have 2 very interesting runners in Carnfunnock (Daryl Jacob flies over for the 1 ride) and Blizzard Of Oz in the bumper. I really like Carnfunnock and think he could throw his hat in to the Supreme Novices Hurdle picture today (at least from a place perspective ;)).

In the 15:10 Handicap Chase at Punchestown over an extended 3m, Temptationinmilan stands-out as having a very good chance? The Milan gelding has good form for this, and is well-bred for NH racing. Distance and going should be OK. Conditional Philip Byrnes (5) rides for the Charlie Bynes yard.
4/1 (Bet365) best price at time of writing.
