Mondays fancy is only a very small one and its for GREY AREA 14-1 Carlisle 2:55. Back down to a handy mark and the seven pound claimer is a bonus.

I quite like Hartside in the 5pm at Carlisle today. He's 6/1 in places and has some very solid form for the grade to his name over the last few runs behind Brave Spartacus and Jaunty Inflight. I'd be more keen if McCoy/Jonjo weren't running their horse, Beg To Differ, in the same race. However, Hartside is knocking on the door and for small change i'll risk a tenner in the hope the fav isn't particularly well handicapped. Hartside has won off 1lb higher in the past and the ground/track shouldn't pose any particular problems. He could run his race and still not be quite good enough so certainly not one to get too excited about.

I have some info to share if anyone is interested. Can't vouch for the reliability as it's the first tip I've been given here. However, if it wins I would feel guilty not telling you folk.

Hopefully someone has been "studying" the form Ron, could be overpriced to a "degree". There is a "school of thought" that he will relish today's conditions though and hopefully he'll come through with "honours".

The race it won fell in its lap. I thought it would win next time out but it ran a shocker. Its the second slowest horse in the yard...........just in front of mine!

We've all had a bit on the PM in the town. Broken a habit of not betting I'm afraid. Have probably put the mockers on it.
Haven't looked at the form Oddy. Wouldn't mean anything to me

Bollocks. Unplaced. And that was from the jockey!

Sorry if anyone backed it. That's me back to no betting.

havent been on here for a while, but starting to take a closer interest now that Cheltenham is approaching fast.
just looked at the 2.45 card at Lingfield and saw that the old boy Victory Gunner is still running! probably won't win but I must have a small each way bet on what must be his last or very close to his last race.

    16;00 Carlisle - Conquisto (@13/2)

(Reverting to timber, but should give a good account in this field, even with top weight).
