    Well the one I fancy is PINOTAGE, I think he is on a fair mark and will be fit from his NH campaign.

    Wondering if anyone can help with this one? I have been looking at Betfair as a friend mentioned a way of making money by trading odds so i have watched a few videos and they keeps saying that if i do yhe bet below and it loses i come out evens to my eye i still lose the backing stack and cant see how i get it back and the only way to come out in profit is by it winning? Would ppl agree or if not could someone kindly explain where im going wrong?

    If i back a horse for £20 @ 4.0 i win £60

    But i lay it at the same time for £20 @ 2.0 (in hope it hits tht price in running). If shud win i have a liability of £40 but have won £60 so end up +£20 BUT if it loses i lose. My win stake of £20 but win £20 on the lay but still end up £20 down as i staked £40 to start with !!!! Help!!!

    Boil, if the horse wins, you get £80 return (20x4.0=80......60 quid profit and your 20quid stake back). Remember, 4.0 is the same as 3/1.

    If you lay the horse in play at 2.0, that's the same as laying it as Evens. So your liability in this bet is £20, and if the horse does lose, you win the backers stake of £20 plus getting back your £20 in liability.

    So if the horse in question WINS- you return 80 quid (4.0 x 20), so 60 quid in profit on that. However, because you laid it at Evens in running, you lose your 20quid liability so your overall profit is £40.

    If the horse LOSES, your 20 quid win bet at 4.0 is down the pan. However, you laid it at 2.0 (Evens) so you win 20 quid from the backer plus your 20 quid lay bet liability back. So you get £40 return in total having staked £40 overall, hence the 'no lose' idea.

    Easiest way to remember decimal odds is to knock a 1 off the first number:

    4.0 = 3/1
    3.0 = 2/1
    2.0=1/1 (evens)

    My old man was a Bowie freak and always had him on at home.My ma used to joke how she married Ziggy Stardust and not him!.I Think I new all the words to Starman when I was four and used to sing it in school and get in trouble,what a little rascal I was.Me and the old man were just chatting the the other day how we never went to see if him live.
    I was due to see him at a festivel ten years ago but he pulled out due to the infamous lolipop in the eye incident,we got to see The Darkness instead:emoticon-0101-sadsm RIP Ziggy,your music will live on for generations to come<peacedove>

    Looks very tight at Wolverhampton but tijuca 9/4 look a safe bet.
    I think my main interest will be on dilgura at 4s to get the better of a nice sort in effusive I will rf to be on the safe side which is a risk as by rights has been running well of late but should find these to a hand full.
