I'm sure Ted (i think) said the reason he pitted was because he needed to pit for Options.
 
Vergne has said that the tyres wouldn't have lasted the last 10 laps but I have to say surely the logical money would have been either to try (possibly being overtaken by di Resta and the other points scorers in the process) or go onto the super softs rather than take a gamble on a set of inters?
