I agreed with every word he said.
Can you quote something he said to point me to where he is deluded?
But I was listening as a SAFC supporter and neither a MON in or MON out.
He has no control of our luck which is **** at the moment.
Couple of breaks today or a bit more effort from our forwards to finish off some great crosses and it could all have been so different.

He may not be able to control luck, but he chooses tactics etc.
MON has always talked a good game - especiallty years ago on MOTD where he tries to confuse the public.
He used to question what we all knew about football, having not played the game!!!
Sadly, he's being found out in a league where there is competition.
A nice bloke, but no clue!

Were Villa in a different league when he had them top half regulars?

    Confuse the public?
May be the strangest comment ever.
He never confused me or anybody else I know.
He was also well respected for his honest assessments of games.

When Villa were 'up there', why didn't they progress.

I understood his comments too, but they aren't always concise!

Agreed on his assessments of games.

Perhaps it had to do with man utd, arsenal, chelsea, spurs and the like who had equally good or better teams?

Is he a **** manager for not winning the title over them in his 4 years? Really?

That must make Moyes, a manager you would drop your pants and allow rear entry too, an even worse a manager, as he has won absolutely **** all in his 10 years at Everton?

What the **** Gus Poyet, who has never managed in the top flight, would be able to do better is beyond me and the other alternatives I've read you have mentioned are even worse.
