I think MON is a very clever, astute man and have a feeling anything he says he says for a reason (if that makes sense)

 

Being 'alright' with a chairman in this day and age is more than enough

 

MoN has said before that he doesnt have mates within Football. He has a few close 'acquaintances' but no one he would call friends. He prefers to keep all that separate I think, doesn't let feelings get in the way of business

I seem to remember Mon and ES being pictured together in civvies at the Bruce Springsteen concert - unless it was a PR stunt
