Sounds to me like he wants to keep him on loan until the end of the season **** that! The rate he is going we will have absolutely no chance come the end of the season we don't want him on loan for the rest of the season we want him signed up in January, the club need to sort themselves out, I cannot believe we aint spoke to Spurs already, we should be on the phone to there chairman and inquiring about how much they want for him If we don't sign him on a long term deal then we have no one else to blame but ourselves, you would of thought we would of learned
Poolie - I agree we want him next month but the club may not be able to do this financially - we all spout "Why not sign this that or the other" yet we don't know all of the ins and outs - personally - he'd be my first target in January - there may be something in the loan agreement which prevents us from signing him until the summer?? Or the lad might have had his head turned by Harry Redknapp and so might want to keep his options open - better to sign for a club in the PL than a club that may be in the PL or may not?? **** knows - if we keep him on loan then I'd have no issue with that as long as we keep him and then go all out to sign him in the summer
Unfortunately Poolie I think the ones who are going to benefit mostly from this loan spell is Spurs, obviously SAFC in the short term though. Hopefully Ellis saves a bob or two to make an offer either in January or the summer, doesnt sound like we have first refusal on him either. On another note its great how he has proved a lot of people wrong when we first heard we were getting Danny Rose on loan, get in Danny lad.
Agreed! Personally I think that the club realise that, and that we will sign him in January. However I have nothing to base this opinion on other than blind optimism...
im sure they will be a price arranged! and if so why waste money on signing him now we already have him for the season..
We don't know the terms of the loan deal. The option to sign him in January may not be included. I'm sure MON has seen what we have, so it may not be possible to sign him in January whatever we think.
Thought we had him all season lads on loan anyway with the option in January which in my humble opinion we should take up, he has been the stand out player for me this season and we should move heaven and earth to get him.
Do we spend half or all our budget on rose or do we strengthen other needed areas and keep him on loan. That's the dilemma oneil has. Don't know why people think we are going to spend shed loads of money.
